Throughout time, the local spirit was worshiped by its holiday makers who were passionate about freedom and exquisite holidays and ‘Vama’ was the only place in the country to meet their needs for freedom without oppression.
Populated with only a handful of ‘gagauzi’ inhabitants in 1811, at present it is witnessing a fast and consistent development of this remote area and it is the pilgrimage place for those who enjoy freedom, wish to escape from the stress of the city life and party with their friends and families.
Summer in Vama Veche: One of the best on the Romanian Black Sea Coast.
On average, the temperature here is 2-3 degrees Celsius higher than the rest of the northern Black Sea coast and it is considerably lower in extremely hot days registered in the rest of the country.
