Is this a cottage or a villa? - You might ask yourself when you see Ioana Guesthouse.
From the outside, the massive wooden construction looks like a cottage in the mountain setting of Arieseni commune.
Once inside the house, you will be surprised by the comfort and modern amenities: double-glazed windows, central heating, modern bathrooms, etc.
The rooms are spacious and bright, with solid wood furniture. Everything is new! The guesthouse was opened in 2004.
The hosts are young and enthusiastic and will do everything to make you feel good.
When you have dinner in the wooden pavilion in the yard, you will have the entire view of the Apuseni Mountains in front of your eyes.
Car access: coming on Dn75 Câmpeni-Ștei, pass the center of Arieseni commune and continue for about 2 km. Opposite “our house” – a seemingly white stone building, turn right, leaving the road on a road that goes up the hill. After about 100 m you will reach the Ioana Guesthouse.

In the summer we recommend the nearby tourist attractions: Scarisoara Glacier, Galbenei Gorge, Ponor Fortresses, Bear Cave, Bihor Peak and Coiba Mare Cave, Vrtop Glacier Cave, Vrciorog Waterfall, Tăuz Hot Spring, Ruginoasă Pit.
In winter, the slopes of Vârtop are at your disposal to enjoy nature in the middle of nature.
