Pensiunea Nera is a family guesthouse, run by the Fekete family, located on the edge of the village of Bârzava, near Miercurea-Ciuc, Harghita County. Here, in a secluded and peaceful corner of the world, guests can enjoy a spectacular view of Piatra Singuratică, Hășmașul Mare and Podul Caracău, in the heart of the mountainous landscape of the Ciuc Basin.
It is the ideal place to relax with family or friends, in an authentic setting, where time seems to flow more slowly.
The hosts live right in the same courtyard, opposite the guesthouse, and welcome their guests as family friends. Here they live in the rhythm of slow food and slow tourism, with an emphasis on local food, traditional activities and reconnecting with nature.
For a complete experience, the guesthouse offers half-board services. The dishes are carefully prepared by Beáta, the hostess of the house, an excellent cook, who uses local and seasonal ingredients. She can also be a local guide, organizing various activities in the village and the surrounding area. Oszkár, the host of the house, is a ski instructor and truffle enthusiast, with over two decades of experience in the production of mushroom-based delicacies.
