"Leul de aur" the newest and oldest hotel in Sebeş at the same time was built in the year 1417 being for a long time the only hotel in the old Sebeş one of the most important towns of Medieval Transylvania. Today the little burgh is one of the most crossed towns in the country being a road junction for those who want to reach Bucureşti Cluj or Arad and is situated at a distance of 50 km from the International Airport - Sibiu.
Today the building which is situated in the centre of Sebeş is completely renovated but it still has the characteristics that made it famous its past being combined with the equipment and finishing work of the latest generation. Nothing of the architectural aspect of those times has been changed.

Keeping in mind the variety of tastes and preferences of our clients we thought to combine the past with the present both from the gastronomic and the beverage point of view and we conceived for our dear clients a bar where you can enjoy a good coffee or a cocktail while you read your mails at the business-centre of the bar or simply find a second of meditation and silence.
The wine cellar where we expect you has represented since 1417 the place where people from the old burgh of Sebeş came to enjoy themselves and socialize. We have tried and hope to have succeeded to render something from that atmosphere both from the architectural and the beverage and dishes point of view.
If time does not permit and you are in a hurry or just passing by we thought about you our dear clients and created a rapid line of self-service restaurant with a large variety of dishes from soups to desserts in which your serving time depends only on your decision.
