Founded by Santa Pătru cel Bătrîn and Aunt Maria (doctor of chemical engineering) in 2002, Cabana lui Pătru welcomes you for a walk through the forest and a collection of sponges in summer or for a ski game in winter on the Șureanu Ski Area in the immediate vicinity nearby.

Located at an altitude of almost 2000 m, Cabana lui Pătru is relatively easily accessible. From Sebeș, climb the Transalpina, the Valea Frumoasei, masterfully described by Sadoveanu.

At the dam of the Oașa accumulation lake, take the road to Luncile Prigoanei and the Șureanu Ski Area, passing by the Oașa Monastery.

The unit has an equipped kitchen.
