Situated at the confluence of rivers Moldova and Moldoviţa,surrounded by rolling hills and mountains,the Vama village has a rich architectural and religious heritage ,and not less than 4 church out of which 3 are Orthodox,one is Catholic,plus a Jewish cemetery.
Geographically speaking,Vama lies in the centre of an imaginary triangle formed by the monastery of Moldoviţa,the monastery of Voroneţ,and the convent Chiril from the Massif of Rarău-places of pride for the people living in this magnificent region called BUCOVINA.


Comfortably installed in your bed,you can have a look at the many leisure activites at your disposal, depending on the season and your preference. A few suggestions:
Visits and cultural excursions to: :
- the monastires of Putna,Voronet,Vatra Moldovitei, Sucevita, Humor, Arbore
- the fortress of Suceava
- the black pottery workshop in Marginea
